Dr. Marwan Al-khudhair joined the residency as a faculty physician in July 2012, after completing his family medicine residency in our program. He has been a member of the Lone Star family since 2009. He graduated from Al-Mustansiriya University/College of Medicine, Baghdad, Iraq.
In addition to Dr. Al-khudhair’s passion for providing medical care for patients of all age groups, he performs and teaches diagnostic procedures including exercise treadmill and pulmonary function tests. He also provides hospital care and teaches residents on the inpatient service at Conroe Regional Medical Center. He has been published in the Berlin European Hematology Association 2009 Conference for his assistance in the research “Epidemiology of Chronic Amyloid Leukemia in Iraqi Patients.”
Outside of medicine Dr. Al-khudhair enjoys spending time with family, reading, and following sports, especially basketball and soccer.
