Jonathan Santos, MD is a native to Texas originally from Dallas. He attended medical school at St. George’s University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude Honors in 2010. Prior to medical school he was a graduate of Texas A&M University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry & Genetics in 2003, as well as a Masters in Biotechnology degree in 2004. Before pursuing medicine, Dr. Santos participated in a variety of research projects while at Texas A&M University which provided him several opportunities to publish in scientific journals.
Following graduation from St. George’s University he went on to residency training in Family Medicine here at the Conroe Family Medicine Residency Program at Lone Star Family Health Center. Following graduation from residency he joined as faculty at Lone Star Family Health Center in July of 2013 where he continues to provide compassionate care for patients of all ages. In addition to working closely with residents in their pursuit to become excellent Family Physicians, Dr. Santos has the additional role of serving as a mentor and Clinical Preceptor for rotating medical students from the University of North Texas Health Science Center – Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Outside of medicine Dr. Santos enjoys movies, traveling, trying new dining experiences and cuisines, and spending time with family and friends.
