Lone Star Family Health Center recently partnered with Darrel’s Catering to provide special barbecue lunches for LSFHC employees for #GivingTuesday. LSFHC’s #GivingTuesday campaign, Project Next Step, focused on raising funds to provide educational resources to new moms and babies in Montgomery County. Darrel’s Catering of Conroe generously donated the lunches, as well as a monetary donation, to LSFHC as their contribution to Project Next Step.
“We were happy to help out an amazing local organization and be a factor in helping new moms and babies in our community,” stated Vicki McShan of Darrel’s Catering. “LSFHC helps so many in the surrounding areas find quality healthcare, and Darrel’s is pleased to give our time to help them reach more people.”
“We are so thankful to Darrel’s Catering for providing the delicious barbecue and for donating their time and experience to our project,” says Flora Davis, LSFHC’s Director of Development and Communication. “Our employees loved the barbecue, and we look forward to working with Darrel’s again.”
