ur residency is based at Conroe Regional Medical Center.This 322-bed hospital opened in 1982 and is located on a 91-acre wooded site. It is a modern acute care facility with a 24-hour emergency room, a state-of-the-art angiography suite, cardiovascular surgery, MRI, CT scan, ultrasonography, and a PET scanner.
A large wound care facility with hyperbaric oxygen therapy opened in 1991. The maternity and newborn services include three hospital-based neonatologists and Level I, II, and III newborn nursery. There is an excellent variety of pathology and a very high level acuity of illness in the patients cared for at this facility as well as active obstetrical and pediatric services.
